About the role
Specified Skilled Worker (kaigo) placements with funded Japanese language preparation, exam fees covered and dormitory accommodation on arrival.
Contract: Specified Skilled Worker (renewable). Experience required: Care experience preferred, training provided.
Requirements
- Pass the Nursing Care Skills Evaluation Test and Nursing Care Japanese test
- JLPT N4 or JFT-Basic
- Aged 18–40 with a clean police record
- Medical clearance including chest X-ray
- Commitment to a minimum 3-year placement
What you will do
- Assisting with bathing, meals and toileting (the three core kaigo tasks)
- Recreation and rehabilitation activity support
- Recording daily observations for the care manager
- Transfer and wheelchair assistance
- Communicating respectfully with residents and families in Japanese
