About the role
A Certificate of Sponsorship under the UK Health & Care Worker visa, with paid induction, Care Certificate training and accommodation support for the first 8 weeks.
Contract: Permanent, full-time. Experience required: Minimum 1 year paid care experience.
Requirements
- At least 12 months of paid elderly or disability care experience
- English at CEFR B1 — IELTS 4.0 UKVI or an approved equivalent
- Clean criminal record check from every country lived in for 12+ months
- Fit-to-work medical clearance and full vaccination record
- Willing to work a rotating pattern including nights and weekends
What you will do
- Personal care: washing, dressing, toileting and mobility support
- Medication administration once signed off as competent
- Accurate daily care notes on the electronic care record
- Supporting residents living with dementia using person-centred methods
- Mentoring new care assistants during their induction period
