About the role
An employer-supported route under the Home Support Worker / provincial nominee pathway, with permanent residency eligibility typically within 24 months.
Contract: Permanent, full-time. Experience required: 2 years of care or auxiliary nursing experience.
Requirements
- Two years of documented experience as a caregiver or auxiliary nurse
- Completed secondary education and a recognised care diploma
- IELTS General 6.0 across all bands (or TEF Canada equivalent)
- Vulnerable sector police check and full immunisation record
- Ability to lift and transfer residents safely
What you will do
- Assisting residents with activities of daily living
- Vital signs monitoring and reporting changes to the RN
- Following individual care plans and restorative care programs
- Infection prevention and control compliance
- Family communication and end-of-life comfort care
